Welcome to the 2025 edition of the Summer Sizzle at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta, sponsored by the Atlanta Region SCCA! Atlanta Region SCCA is celebrating its 76th year of existence and over 50 years of racing at Road Atlanta!
This is a Double SARRC weekend for all drivers and a Bonus Majors Weekend for FF, FV & F600 drivers. You will accrue SARRC Points for both Saturday and Sunday’s Races. Bonus Majors Drivers will receive Majors Points and SARRC Points for both Saturday and Sunday’s Races unless they elect to waive either Majors Points or SARRC Points for the weekend.
John Fine will be conducting a short Driver’s Meeting after the first Qualifying session for each Race Group (this is a Driver’s Meeting, Not a Steward’s Meeting) so that requests for split Starts and any other requests or problems can be resolved.
As usual for the Atlanta area in July it will be HOT, with daytime temperatures in the upper 90*F range with chances of Pop-Up Showers. So please ensure that you and any crew members stay hydrated!
If you are racing on a Novice Permit or a Probation Letter, John Fine will be at Registration Thursday night and Friday night so that you can present him with your Novice Permit or Probation Letter. From Saturday Morning on John Fine will be at the Tech Shed so that you can present your Permits/Letters to him there. At the end of your last race Sunday, YOU are responsible for obtaining your Novice Permit or Probation Letter from the Operating Steward for your race group.
Should you need to see the Stewards of the Meeting for any reason, they will be located on the second floor of the tower.
A few reminders for the weekend

To ensure a welcoming and inclusive environment for all participants, any information provided during event registration or displayed on an entered car—including, but not limited to, sponsor names, car names, car designs, and graphics—that is deemed vulgar, offensive, or inconsistent with our core values will be considered a violation of the SCCA Welcoming Environment.
