Points 8 Recap: Regular Season Finale!
October 26, 2025 – Atlanta Motor Speedway
A field of 112 drivers wrapped up the 2025 points season with a brisk and competitive day of autocross at Echo Park Speedway. The season finale saw tight battles across several classes — with some wins decided by hundredths of a second — and the Pro Class once again showcasing some of the region’s top talent.
Pro Class – The Pro Class featured 17 of Atlanta Region’s best, with razor-thin gaps throughout the top ten. Christian Kolmers claimed the win in his CSP Mazda Miata with a blistering 41.814 PAX time, edging Rick Cone’s CS Miata by just 0.342 seconds. Tommy Pulliam rounded out the podium in his FS Camaro 1LE, only 0.652 seconds back. The rest of the top five included David Nolan in a Porsche Cayman GTS and Steve Waters, also in a Camaro 1LE. Less than two seconds separated the top six — a fitting finale for a deeply competitive field.
Super Street (SS) – Charles Krampert took the SS win in his 2025 Porsche Cayman GTS with a commanding 50.215. Behind him, the battle for second was tight between Fred Brett and Elizabeth Richardson, both in Corvettes, separated by only 0.227 seconds — one of the closest fights of the event.
B Street (BS) – The BS class was a thriller. Ryan McGinnis’s GR Corolla barely edged David Knudsen’s Corvette by 0.011 seconds — one of the narrowest margins of the day. Thomas Koh’s GR Supra was right there too, just 0.041 off the win. This three-way fight was among the tightest of the season.
D Street (DS) – In DS, a deep 12-car field saw a duel for the win decided by just 0.018 seconds. Alan Fischer’s Golf R held off Cullin Williams’ Lancer Evolution in a photo finish, while Marko Horn and Dean Richardson completed the trophy positions within half a second of the lead. DS continues to be one of the most hotly contested categories in the region.
E Street (ES) – Allen Joiner put down a strong 54.715 in his 1999 Miata to secure the win over Philip Rodning and Larry Ferrell, who were separated by a combined margin of under 3 seconds. Miatas filled the top five — proving that classic formula never goes out of style.
B Street Touring (BST) – Marcus Wheeler took the BST victory in his Nissan 350Z, but not without pressure from Jeffrey Ling’s Subaru STI and Daniel Toth’s Mitsubishi Evolution. All three drivers were within 0.992 seconds, making this another highlight battle of the event.
G Street (GS) – Thomas Simon’s VW GTI grabbed the win with a 55.707, but Jonathan Dove was close behind with a 56.590, a gap of less than a second. The GS Volkswagens once again showed consistent pace and parity.
Classic American Muscle (CAM-C) –Kyle Mavis dominated CAM-C in his Shelby GT350, running a 51.572 to take the win by 1.374 seconds over Brent Dixon’s Mustang. The modern muscle cars looked and sounded right at home at AMS.
Rookie Class – The Rookie Class wrapped up the season with 20 entrants, featuring tight competition among several new drivers. Ashley Tate took the win in a Toyota GR86 with a 43.525 PAX, followed by John Planer’s Civic Si and Dominik Klenik in a BMW 328i. Less than half a second separated first and second — an impressive debut showing for both drivers.
